To ensure that interested students and their parents fully understand the Summerbridge program and the commitment a student must make to join it, we have chosen to present parts of the student section information in a bilingual format. For further information about the program in an English format, please turn to the Visitors section. Thank you.

Summerbridge Hong Kong (SBHK) is a non-profit tuition-free, summer and after-school enrichment program that helps young students strengthen their English and leadership skills, build their self-confidence, and view learning as a life long process. In the program, students must try to speak English all of the time to their teachers and to fellow classmates. This offers students the opportunity to use English as a tool for communication. In addition to practicing English, students explore a variety of subjects through academic courses taught by older students, aged 15-22, from the US, UK and Hong Kong. Through the commitment and dedication of the young people involved, SBHK creates a positive and fun learning environment in which students are encouraged to be confident, creative, and willing to take risks.

Please read the information in this section to learn more about being a student at Summerbridge and how to apply.
