There are no required vaccinations, though it would be a good idea to double check with your own doctor. Most staff do not get any special shots, apart from Hepatitis B.

Do I need to speak Cantonese?

No. Summerbridge Hong Kong is an English immersion program; therefore, you will communicate in English with students and staff. Many Hong Kong residents know at least a small amount of English which makes it relatively easy to navigate the city.

How do I apply?

If you are not a Hong Kong citizen, then you must go to the National website at www.breakthroughcollaborative.org and click on the page entitled "Apply to Teach." After selecting Hong Kong as one of your choices and completing all the questions, your application will be forwarded directly to us.

If you are from Hong Kong and living abroad, you may choose to use the National application procedure or apply through the Summerbridge Hong Kong application.
